The orchestra’s Patriotic Pops program goes West this year as Maestro Chafetz presents an entertaining and exciting musical ride through the American frontier. Highlights include the themes from Bonanza, Silverado and The Wild Wild West, Copland’s Billy the Kid Suite, Home on the Range, the William Tell Overture, Annie Get Your Gun and Pops Hoedown. Also featured will be two Patriotic Pops traditions – the Salute to the Armed Forces and a patriotic Sousa march.
