FAMILY FARE NO. 2
KNOWING THE SCORE

Sunday, May 22, 3 p.m.
Hayes Hall

Andrew Lane, conductor

Why do composers write the way they do? Come hear Maestro Andrew Lane talk about composers and how they write music for films – as well as all other kinds of music. Selections in this lively concert include excerpts from Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, the William Tell Overture (the theme from The Lone Ranger) and many other fun-filled works. Also featured will be the film Tugger, the Jeep that Wanted to Fly, with music by award-winning composer/arranger Greg Sims and narration by Jim Belushi.
