Students of the Naples Philharmonic perform in their spring recital with piano accompaniment. Ages of the performers range from grade school through high school, with both string and wind instruments being played.

The Philharmonic Youth Orchestra is an auditioned orchestra with members from middle and high schools in Collier and Lee counties. The orchestra performs a wide range of music including classical, opera and film-score excerpts.

The Youth Orchestra performs with the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra twice each season, and on their own at Naples High School twice each season. Members of the orchestra who win the yearly concerto competition are featured soloists with the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra.

Charles Gottschalk, general manager of the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra, is the conductor and music director of the Philharmonic Youth Orchestra.

Auditions for membership in the Philharmonic Youth Orchestra are held each spring and fall for the coming season.
