Erik Berg, associate principal second violin, received his B.M. and M.M. degrees, with academic honors, from the New England Conservatory in Boston.

Berg’s previous orchestral engagements include the Penn's Woods Chamber Orchestra, the National Orchestral Institute and the principal second violin position as well as solo appearances with the Huntington Chamber Orchestra in Boston. His love of chamber music brought him to Vermont for four summer seasons with the Yellow Barn chamber music festival.

As a teaches, Berg was on the faculty of the New England Music Camp in Oakland, Maine, for several summers.  He currently maintains a private violin studio in Naples with students of all ages.  He spends his free time with his wife, Natalie, and two children, Elizabeth and Jonah. Berg has been a member of the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra since 1990.
