Your hobbies and interests: Cooking, hiking, reading, travel, antiquing.

Funniest concert moment: My cleaning rod got stuck in my piccolo just before an entrance. Very nerve-wracking, but I did successfully extract it and play the entrance. (I have since purchased a different type of rod.)

Daily practice rituals: Tone and flexibility warm-up, Moyse "24 Small Melodic Etudes" selection, first two movements of Bach C Major Sonata.

The question you're asked most often about your instrument (and your answer): "Do you call yourself a flutist or a flautist?" My answer: "A flute player."

Your favorite part about playing in the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra: I'm surrounded by dedicated, hardworking and inspiring musicians.
